The Holy Spirit is a fire. He overtakes and consumes. Where He is there is freedom. Freedom means being who you are in Jesus and not living as a slave to sin. Deliverance is the process by which a believer is set free from demonic influence. The spirit is free but the soul may be in bondage. Like Lazarus was raised to life but needed to be unbound, the believer may need help to unbind the works of the enemy. The soul might be torn to pieces by the past. The demons use these pieces and wounds as legal rights. Through inner healing, Jesus comes and heals the wounds, and through the deliverance process we cast out the demons on these wounds in Jesus Name and by His Authority. The demons that find a home in the body or soul will be driven out and the recipient will experience peace.
