"I was brought up in a Hindu home in Trinidad and Tobago. In the Hindu religion, there are thousands different idols. I had to pray to one called Shiva and he had a snake around his neck. My cousin later introduced me to a New Age religion called SRF. They practiced meditation and would merge all different religions together in their teachings. In 1990, I first came to the United States and later met my husband. He was Catholic and I was practicing Hinduism and New Age. In 2009 I meet Jesus, and my life changed completely. I have been through deliverance and Sozo several times, and I thought I was free from my past beliefs and Idols. In May 2024, my family and I started going to The Hub in Burnsville, and our pastor talked about Serena’s deliverance ministry. I signed up and had no idea what to expect. As Serena started to pray, God started showing her things and I was taken up to heaven and saw Jesus wearing his purple robe. I was about 8 years old and kneeled in front of Jesus. His hand was over my head and Jesus was telling me some of the demons that needed to come out. Serena also saw the same demon that Jesus highlighted to me, which as Shiva. When Serena saw the idol that was, she also saw an altar on which my dadused to sacrifice animals on. After my deliverance, I have never felt so free in my life and the peace was like no other. It reminded me of Philippians 4:7, which states: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ. That was what I felt then.
